*MY REFLECTIONS..*

Toyota Rush

Gosh...it's been 2 days tt I've been going from one Automobile Shop to another & I'm so glad to have gotten the deal I've wanted. I'm blessed with the trade-in value I get from my Opel's PARF, COE & Body Parts. In total....Fabulous Automobile is giving me $31,300.00! Not a bad amount isn't it? With that I can clear my outstanding Opel's loan which is left with $15,485.00. So the balance of another $15k or so can be made use to downpayment the New Toyota Rush. With tt...the newer loan is so much lesser & expenses too. Thanks to the 5 years warranty & all. Plus...I've always wanted to try driving a jeep-cum-suv kinda car. Upon signing the agreement, I got quite a few colours to choose from & I've come to decide with the Pearl-White one. However, I was told tt the Pearl-white one is a special colour which requires a much tedious coating & painting process. Normally customers are required to top-up another $1000 for the pearl-toned ones but I'm glad tt they decided to incur the cost for me instead. And now, I'm just awaiting for the loan approval b4 I start driving my Rush...hehe.

Finally...a sd goodbye to my Opel Zafira

It's bn since last Sunday tt I've been driving a Nissan Sunny which replaced my Opel car as it needed to be repaired....yet again! And juz now the workshop peeps called me to finalise my quotation and it costs close to $3000!!! Gosh, this year itself it's been like 4 times my Opel had been sent for repairs. I guess it's about time to let it go. Oh well, to take things into consideration, tt Opel car of mine is already 7 years of age liao. So it is it's time to be scraped anyways. No point keeping it with me any longer no doubt it had served me pwetty well since 2004. It is my first method of motivating myself to move on since my last divorce. It even motivated me to pass my driving tests & practicals @ a go..hehe..cos I bought it even b4 I've gotten my driving license. And I guess the motivating plan actually worked. After discussing with Daddy Cool juz now during dinner, he agreed with my decision. My next car has to be smaller & preferably Japanese. As much as I wanted to get behind the wheels of a Volkswagen Polo, after taking into accounts the high maintenance costs of Continental cars(which I've experienced)............I'm kinda going for a Toyota Rush. Most Toyotas are reliable as I've heard from many. So here's to my Opel Zafira, thank u loads! My life may not be as present without you. I really did relied on u throughout the years.........:)

Nervous + Excitement = Gemini (Female 2 be exact..)

Aite....after so much have been completed makin' way for alot more to be done, I kinda not hv d chance of knowing & learning my feelings currently. And since I didn't go to work yesterday, I finally had the chance to reflect my thoughts after so long. Firstly, with so much to happen soon-to-come....I'm excited but knowing what are the things comin' for me...it's beginning to affect my nerves. Lookin' @ the calender, I'm overwhelmed by how I felt like it's only recently tt I juz got enggaged & all.......but yet in reality it's countin' down to only a few months (& I really mean FEW!!) for me to walk down tt same aisle towards being someone's wifey again...Man! Scary ain't it?! So much to accomplish with yet so little time.. I need another break!! For some reason, getting tt free trip to bangkok is definitely relevant now eh.. How I wish tt everything can be done juz by a snap of my fingers! But heh...wishful thingkin' sey! For ur folk's greatest info, I've not even do up the list of my invites yet. Both Jay & Nazarr are currently rushing me for it! Plus I've also hv not confirmed my choice of wedding costumes either. So I'm goin' to Rias Andaman with Aquarius on the 15th Nov to choose & @ the same time to do fitting @ one go! I don't think I'll hv the time to come down again juz for fittings. As for the bears....remember those tiny bears my mum 'die-die' wanting to have?! Yup..those bears....I've found one shop which have those bears in bridal costumes. And it comes in a pair...Bride & Groom. Imagine & visualise how cute those thingys are..& I was given @ a pweety good price for them too! They are quoted for $1.80 for a pair...meaning it costs only $0.90 each bear. My photo shootings are scheduled in December. Gosh...one thing after the other huh. Oh ya, not to mention tt we have not registered our wedding date yet! Which we've planned to go end of October though. Me havin' to juggle these thingys with work is kinda sucky liao. Now I'm juz crazy-shadowin' on my honeymoon cum holiday (2 weeks!!) after my wedding. So all those things-to-do mentioned above better be all worthwhile k! Alritey.....I met up with Titi & Razi juz now @ Orchard (gosh! it's bn a pweety long time..since I've went there) & juz like as if I needed a new sweater, I've bought 2 new ones from Mooks!!! What can I say...............juz can't help it *Grin*......Heh, till further updates peeps!

We've finally made it!!! A nite out with the old usual league..haha. And since after so so long............clueless to where to go & all, we decided to check 'The Arena' out. Well, music was good tt nite but not so much of a fan towards the crowd though.

Juz when I thought............

Hmmmm...........juz when I thought tt d jobmarket in Singapore is kinda bad & also figured tt I'm not as competent as how I was 5 years back cos I did my own analyst by forwarding my resumes to most managerial posts, only to make me realise tt......I was so wrong! One point I've forgotten to include is bigger posts require longer time for selection. I was tralala-ing 3 days back when I was interrupted by a phonecall requesting to come for interview d next day. I was very much shocked at first when I answered plus I even forgotten which company & which post I've forwarded my application to. Rite after I hung up..I quickly checked on my sent inbox & finally found out which particular job posting tt call was from. It's a vacancy for an Office Manager @ an editorial publishing & printing company. My interview will be between 6pm-7pm on the next day & juz as I thought after for awhile pertaining to the potential offer (cos I had a strange feeling tt I'm so gonna get d job), I found myself hesitating & relucting going for it. Alritey, I went to work as usual d next day & was so confident with d decision I've made prior to my unattendance for the interview. I made an appointment with Jay to choose my invitation card's design as they've already came up with a few. During our appointment, never did I expect to get a call again from tt company's secretary cos usually if a person nvr turn-up as the time given, the management will go on to another suitable candidate. But this particular one kept on calling me till d extend of makin' me decided not to leave the calls unanswered anymore & answered it. My brain was a blank & I didn't hv a single idea on what reasons I have to give to tt secretary! As I could hear her asking me whether I could mk it there in time cos it's only 5 mins to the interview liao, I quickly opted a reason saying tt I'm stuck in a traffic jam & it'll be insane for most state of minds to think tt I am able to reach there within 5 mins. And I also assumed tt she'll told me to come another day or set it on another date & all but NO! tt didn't happen k, she tld me to wait for call again as she confirmed with her boss for another timing on tt same day!! I can't say anything else but to agree to wait for d call. After I hung-up, I managed to make do with my best selection for the invitation thingy & ended my appointment with Jay. And b4 I cld even reached my car, and there it was...my phn rang again & I very much cld tell tt it was tt call. The secretary tld me tt if I could mk it tt day, her boss is willing to wait for me till whatever time I could reach there. Giving-up, I juz gv-in & tld them tt I'm able to reach there by 8pm as the office address is only a drive away...Paya Lebar, which is lk only 5 mins drive from my place though. I completed the whole interview procedure. I was tld during the interview on where my status in the company will be @ not in years but only within 8mths-a year. After a completion of 8 mths or so as the Office Manager, I'll be promoted as a General Manager as tt was what they were looking for in the first plc. The Office Manager role was to only get me prepared within tt company's inner departments... to learn & get used to it's basic daily operations so tt I'll be ready to tk full charge internally & also the outer operations. Well, actually I am to take full responsibility for it's whole business management while the managing director is out-stationed handling his office in a foreign country. After d interview ended, I was told when I could gv my answer to him. He expected an answer by 2day...Friday but I requested for a longer time to think of carefully & at the same time research more on the offer & it's business. I told him to gv me till through out the weekend & he agreed. I stepped outta the office looking @ my Aquarius waiting for me & gv him a rather delighted look. I then tld him tt I've got the job lk how I've bitched in my car through out my journer there. The MD emailed me a copy of the offer package yesterday liao & wow....it's indeed a rather hefty amount plus given an extra Transport allowance & all. He even included my prospect in a time frame graph..professional indeed. And now I'm undecisive!!! I'm confused....but still hv the wkend to think far on it though. So wish me luck all. In order of making juz abt one of my most important decisions in my life.

P/S : One thing learnt, if anything/anyone is meant to be yours....it'll be yours no matter how you tried to run away from it. And another thing, it's down to another 4 more months (yes...ONLY 4 months!!!) till I be Mrs Gemini-Aquarius..hehehe Btw, went for Aquarius' co's D&D yesterday evening & he won 4th prize sey!! We are $600 richer & got to go to BKK for 3days 2nites via Swissair + all accomadations cvrd for... Sweet thang aye!!
