*MY REFLECTIONS..*

SIngapore Idol 2009...

I was seated close to the TV as I enjoyed my Singapore Idol Finale last night. Till yesterday, I've not done any voting at all since the begining of the 1st episode. Well, tt's what i do normally for every each year's idol show. I'll wait to do my part voting during the finale. As for yesterdays votings, I did it only after I've heard all 3 performances by the 2 peeps. At first I thought Sylvia's Mercy was happening but eventually Sezairi's performance always slightly raised a bar prior to Sylvia's. And I was disappointed to hear her 2nd performance due to a totally wrong song choice for her voice & strength. She's good at fast tempo songs...& sings higher song notes better than lower ones. And apparently the lower notes in 'Yellow' were sang juz okay during her 2nd performance. From there I knew my decisions liao. All my 6 votes are goin' for Sezairi. And yes...I couldn't agree more tt he's one cool cat...& also is musically talented. So here's to Sezairi Sezali....Congrats!!!

Week 31.......

Had flu last Wednesday & it took me till Friday to cure. So I was given 3 days medical leave & was resting at home through the weekend & now am back again at work. I'm trying to clear as much as I can before my long-awaited maternity leave starts in January 2010. Ayra's still is kicking as hard as she can. And I guess it's gonna get harder each day till even during labour. Sleeping is as hard too while feeling tired has also become harder. So happy holidays soon to come to my goodself indeed. Heh!

Week 30.....

Your baby's lungs and digestive tract are almost fully developed. While your baby may soon slow up growing in length, (she measures about 15.7 inches/ 40 centimeters from crown to toe by now), she will continue to gain weight until she's born. This week your baby continues to open and shut his eyes. She can probably see what's going on in utero, distinguish light from dark and even track a light source. If you shine a light on your stomach, your baby may move her head to follow the light or even reach out to touch the moving glow. Some researchers think baring your stomach to light stimulates visual development. But don't expect 20/20 vision when your baby is born - newborns can see a distance of only about 8 to 12 inches/ 20 to 30 centimeters. (Children with normal vision don't reach 20/20 vision until about age 7 to 9.) To complete the picture, your baby now has eyebrows and eyelashes.

A pint and a half/ around a liter of amniotic fluid now surrounds your baby but that volume decreases as she gets bigger and has less room in your uterus. As you and the baby continue to grow, don't be alarmed if you feel breathless, as if you can't get enough air; it's just your uterus pressing against your diaphragm. There is a light at the end of the tunnel though. At about 34 weeks (or just before birth, if this is your second or third pregnancy), your baby's head will move down into your pelvis as the baby gets into the right position for birth. That will make breathing and eating a lot easier.

Week 29.....

It's our 29th this week & I'm glad that most of the items listed on Mini's Shopping List is almost completed. All major products like crib & pram had been purchased during my shopping rendevous last week. Infact, I've ended up buying lotsa clothings for Ayra cos there's too many to choose from. 2 days back I've also purchased a chest of drawers & packed my hospital bag liao juz incase I'll missed some items out if I were to start later. Now that most things are done liao....I started to get the feeling of being preggie forever. Gosh, I swear i can't wait for Tiny to come out....to dress her with those clothings, hats, mittens & all AND I can't wait for myself to get slimer to dress up either! My next appointment will be end of this month infact on the 30th december which will be during our 8th month already. At times it seemed fast but yet when I look forward...it's kinda slow. I feel so unsettled....really. Anywayz, the mini's kickings is getting harder & wilder each day......
